Ring Ready (“the App”) is provided by BMS DEVELOPMENT, LLC (“we,” “us”).
Summary
Ring Ready is a wedding planning app for guest lists, RSVPs, seating, budget, vendors, gifts, and related planning. We do not operate a Ring Ready server, and we do not receive a copy of your wedding data.
Information you enter is stored on your device. If iCloud is enabled for the App, Apple syncs that information through your Apple ID using CloudKit. We cannot access your private iCloud data.
Information the App stores
Depending on what you enter, the App may store:
- Guest and household details, such as names, email addresses, phone numbers, and postal addresses
- Wedding planning content, such as RSVPs, meal choices, seating, vendor contacts, budget amounts, gift notes, and event details
- Preferences kept on the device, such as accent color and which event you last selected
You may also import or export spreadsheets. Those files stay on your device unless you choose to save, send, or share them yourself.
We use this information only to provide the App’s features. We do not sell it, rent it, or use it for advertising.
iCloud
Sync and partner sharing use Apple’s iCloud and CloudKit services under your Apple ID. Apple’s privacy policy and iCloud terms apply to that storage and transmission. We do not control Apple’s systems and we do not receive the contents of your iCloud account.
Sharing with a partner
If you use Invite Your Partner, you ask Apple to share that wedding with another Apple ID that you choose. The person you invite can view and edit the shared wedding. We do not send the invitation ourselves and we do not sit between you and your partner.
Purchases
An optional one-time unlock is sold by Apple through the App Store. Apple processes the payment. We do not receive your payment card number. Apple may provide the App with a record that this Apple ID has purchased or restored the unlock so the App can remove its limits. If you invite a partner, the App can mark that shared wedding as unlocked so your partner can use the unlocked features for that wedding without buying it again.
Tracking and analytics
The App does not use third-party advertising or analytics SDKs. It does not track you across other companies’ apps or websites, and it does not use Apple’s advertising identifier.
Information about other people
Guest lists can include information about people other than you, including children who are guests. You are responsible for having an appropriate basis to enter that information. We do not receive it.
Children
The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Retention and deletion
Records remain on your device, and in your iCloud account if sync is on, until you delete them in the App, delete the App, or delete the related iCloud data. You can remove guests and other records inside the App. You can also manage or delete iCloud data with Apple’s tools. Uninstalling the App does not by itself delete data already stored in iCloud.
We do not keep a separate copy, so we cannot delete wedding data from our systems. There is no Ring Ready account to close.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the effective date above. If a change means we start receiving your data, we will describe that before it happens and update the App Store privacy details to match.
